Applications of Hastelloy Pipes and Overview of Flanges, Carbon Steel Flanges, And Stainless Steel Round Bar

Hastelloy pipes main application is in chemical process industries which expose them to oxidizing environments and therefore to corrosion.  They are also used in energy, oil and gas, flue gas desulfurization industries. The nickel based hastelloy pipes are corrosion resistant; they can withstand both alkali and acidic liquids. They are made to extremely high standard specifications and so offer stiff resistance to localized corrosion and uniform attack. They are easy to weld and fabricate.

Hastelloy flanges are made according to international standards. They are circular shaped with pits holes at the edges which facilitate proper installation and leave no room for loose shunting. The range available is wide and one can choose from slip-on flanges, socket weld, blind, lapped, screwed, wells neck, plate, plate black, screwed boss variety.

Best quality raw material goes into the manufacturing of carbon steel flanges and that is why they are strong, durable, corrosion resistant  and of accurate dimension. Carbon steel flanges are made in many types like slip-on, blind, spectacle blind, weld cut, socket cut and threaded to suit the different industry applications. Diary, cement, fertilizer, chemical, oil and gas, petrochemical, beverage and sugar industry use them. They also come with special anti rust coating in red oxide, black Japan, oil; hot dips galvanized and clear transparent lacquer. Each product comes with Milli test report.

Stainless steel round bar comes in standard length of 4m but one can get it to customized length – smaller or greater.  There are many options to choose from – grade, sizes, finishes, tolerances. Two grades – duplex and super duplex grade is available.  Finishes are basically 4 types – drawn, peeled and reeled, smooth turned and ground. The finish will not have mirror like appeal but will have shine. The main difference is in diameter tolerance. These bars are in demand for their superior strength and super resistance to corrosion. They are mainly used in fabrication projects that involve exposure to chemical, acids, fresh water and salt water. Moreover they have excellent machining properties like welding, cutting and forming. Manufacturers use latest processing equipments to provide precision requirements of clients and offer value added services like same day shipping, delivery on time, bar coding and fabrication
